Privacy policy
Your trust starts with clear information.
Version: 15 September 202601. Data controller
CLINICA ORTOPERIO C.B., Tax ID E73289399, at GUTIERREZ MELLADO L, Nº 9, J 31 30008, MURCIA, MURCIA, Murcia - España. Privacy contact: informacion@ortoperio.com · +34 968 205 434.
02. Data we process and why
- Training applications: name, email, telephone, city, country, professional registration number, workplace, experience, goals and interests you provide. We use them to process your application, respond to questions and communicate the programme, dates and payment instructions. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Enrolment and campus: user account, enrolment status, assigned materials, certificate, attendance, module completion, teaching feedback and messages with the team. These are used to deliver and manage the contracted training (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Billing: tax and payment information relating to your enrolment, to meet accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Security: form checks, attempt limits, technical access data, to prevent abuse and protect accounts and services. The basis is the controller's legitimate interest in security (Article 6(1)(f)), without prejudice to consent requirements for optional third-party services.
- Language and cookie preferences: your choice, date, information version and a random receipt identifier. Optional cookies are used only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
Required fields are necessary to process your application. Accepting this policy acknowledges that you have read the information; it does not authorise advertising unrelated to your application. The checkbox is not used to subscribe you to general promotional mailings.
Do not include identifiable patient details, images or clinical records in application forms or campus messages.
03. Recipients and external services
Authorised academy staff have access to your data. Hosting, maintenance and email providers may process it on the controller's behalf under the safeguards and agreements required by the GDPR. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where legally required and to organisations involved in payment processing where necessary.
If you authorise Google reCAPTCHA, Google receives technical browser, device, IP address and interaction data needed to assess whether a request is automated. You may reject it and use the form with our own protection. Google acts as a processor for provision of the service, security and fraud prevention. Processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards in the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum. See also reCAPTCHA data processing information.
WhatsApp links open the external service only when clicked. If you choose this contact channel, that service processes data under its own privacy policy. Email and telephone contact are also available.
04. Retention
Data is retained while your application is handled and, if you enrol, while training and your relationship with the academy are managed. Afterwards, it will be retained with access restricted or blocked where appropriate for the periods necessary to meet legal obligations and address potential liabilities. Tax data is retained for applicable tax and accounting periods. Applications that do not lead to enrolment will cease to be used once their processing is complete.
Language and cookie preferences last 180 days. The cookie choice receipt is retained for 180 days, after which a new choice is requested. Security counters have limited lifetimes and are not used for advertising.
05. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable by writing to informacion@ortoperio.com or the controller's postal address. Specify the right you wish to exercise and the information needed to locate your records. Additional identification will only be requested where there are reasonable doubts about your identity.
You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Anti-spam checks may block an automated submission but do not decide admission to the course: contact the team if you encounter difficulties.
06. Security and updates
Access controls and individual material restrictions are applied. Protect your login details and notify us of suspected misuse. This policy will be updated when processing changes; material changes will be communicated and fresh consent requested where necessary.
